Mental Health and Wellbeing

The legacy boxing program addresses mental, physical, and emotional well-being through self-defence sports. The program's key goals include raising participants’ fitness and well-being and increasing their awareness of decisions affecting health whilst communities.  We focus on the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of the community by creating health care, self-care, and wealth care improving the overall mental health of individuals within their communities.

 

The Struggle to Success program will addresses mental health concerns through a range of group 1-2 and online support services to meet the mental health and wellbeing needs of the community. We will use our social media platforms and the Legacy Foundation network to connect participants and service users to support those who are isolated and vulnerable. We offer solutions by providing training and intervention through support groups for men, women and young people producing a forum in which they can come together in a safe space, signposting them for further support from trained counsellors and professionals.
