The Legacy Gala 2026 is a premier affair and an uplifting milestone celebration that will host hundreds of social justice advocates, community champions, and leaders across the entrepreneurial, public, corporate, and voluntary sectors.
This tenth anniversary edition highlights exceptional talent, showcasing what is achievable when individuals dedicate themselves to pursuing and realising their full potential. Crucially, the gala stands as a living demonstration to the younger generation in attendance that they too have the power to make an impact, supported by the foundational work of trailblazers who have paved the way for the betterment of their futures and our wider communities.
After a decade of transformative progress, the mission of this annual celebration and the Legacy Foundation Global remains resolute: to honour selfless service, champion community leadership, and inspire enduring models of excellence.

ABOUT THE GALA
About the Legacy Gala
The Legacy Gala was established in 2014 through an alliance between the Legacy Foundation, Blaksox, the Society of Black Lawyers, Operation Black Vote, and A Few Good Men. Today, it remains actively supported by a nationwide network of dedicated professionals and community organisations.
The Gala represents our dedicated platform to express heartfelt appreciation to the hardworking individuals and colleagues who serve our communities with tireless dedication. It provides a formal occasion to assemble and honour leaders who have devoted lifetimes of public service towards keeping us safe, healthy, housed, educated, informed, entertained, and economically empowered.
This flagship gathering carries the name 'Legacy' because our founders recognised the imperative need to highlight and build resilient economic foundations and standards of excellence that future generations can inherit, reference, and build upon. It remains an ongoing celebration of the limitless opportunity, ability, and resilience that thrives within our community.
